About Physioclem

Physioclem achieves ISO 9001 Quality Certification, reinforcing its commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. In the same year, and for the fifth consecutive year, it is awarded the Five-Star Regions Award. (Prémio 5 Estrelas Regiões).

Physioclem began as a dream, one shared by Marco and Vânia.

Driven by the desire to be even closer to people and to grow the Physioclem family, we opened a space in Caldas da Rainha within a medical clinic. This marked the first step in the company’s growth journey.

Our first major milestone, the opening of Physioclem Leiria, alongside Luís Nascimento and Ana Amado.

A period driven by strong ambition to grow, planting new seeds for the future. It marked the beginning of a more mature and structured phase for the company, leading to a significant investment in Torres Vedras.

Although it was the most challenging period, the crisis also brought valuable moments to Physioclem, driving profound changes within the company. It made us more mature, resilient, and experienced.

A defining moment in Physioclem’s journey the opening of our own space in Caldas da Rainha. It marked the birth of a Physioclem truly shaped in our image.

Our commitment to expanding into new locations continues. This was the year we arrived in Ourém, where you can now find us at Vilafit.

Having previously been in Nazaré, we returned in 2018. You can now find us in a dedicated space within the CAR-SURF Nazaré facilities, located on the road leading to Praia do Norte. We care not only for big wave surfers, but for the entire community.

And the good news doesn’t stop there. This year also marked our arrival in Fátima, at the Vilafit space.

In Caldas da Rainha, the story continues to evolve. After our presence within a medical centre and later in the city centre, the time came to reopen in a new and larger space.

The year we will never forget. A year that demanded constant change and adaptation. At Physioclem, COVID-19 was far more than just a word.

In response, we launched Physioclem Online to remain close to our patients, and implemented a comprehensive Contingency Plan in line with the guidelines of the World Health Organization and the Directorate-General of Health.

Through these measures, we were able to keep our clinics open safely.

In the year Physioclem began the expansion of its facilities in Caldas da Rainha, the clinic network was awarded the Five-Star Award in the districts of Lisbon (Torres Vedras) and Leiria (Alcobaça, Caldas da Rainha and Leiria), in the category of “Physiotherapy Clinics.”

We arrived in Oeiras. A day filled with emotion marked our inauguration on April 24, another dream brought to life.

Just about a month later, in May, the doors of our new home in Alcobaça opened. A space filled with light, continuing our core mission: CARE. Only a few meters separate the old from the new facilities, a historic building that blends its traditional exterior with a modern, light-filled interior.

22 years of dedication. 22 years of care. 22 years of growth, celebrated in February.

More than the passing of time, we celebrate a continuous commitment to quality and shared success with our patients.
