QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
We know that our users are becoming increasingly well-informed and discerning. We are therefore committed to working tirelessly to consistently exceed their expectations. We have begun implementing a Quality Management System (QMS), which enables us to manage quality, safety and occupational health in an integrated manner.
Mission
Under the motto “we care for you, naturally”, Physioclem’s mission is to treat and rehabilitate its clients, as well as to promote their health and prevent illness and disability, by providing high-quality physiotherapy and osteopathy services; by this I mean effective care based on the expertise of our practitioners.
Vison
Physioclem’s vision is to provide high-quality physiotherapy and osteopathy services across its various areas of practice to the wider national and international community, based on a client-centred approach underpinned by knowledge (scientific evidence), competence and experience of its staff, utilising appropriate infrastructure and equipment, thereby making it possible to consistently achieve stakeholder satisfaction.
In addition to providing services in these areas, we aim to make an active and recognised contribution to the development of knowledge in these fields through investment in scientific research, as well as making a recognised contribution to health promotion and education in the communities where we operate.
Quality policy
Physioclem’s Quality Policy stems from the Vision, Mission and Values inherent to the entire organisation and all the activities we undertake, and sets out senior management’s guidelines regarding quality. These guidelines and commitments are intended to form the cornerstone of the organisation’s continuous improvement and sustained growth. The objectives of the Quality Policy are:
1. To focus all our activities on the client, ensuring a personalised and compassionate approach at every stage.
2. To meet clients’ expectations by applying clinically appropriate procedures to each client, whilst ensuring the safety of every therapeutic procedure at all times.
3. To ensure that Physiotherapy and Osteopathy sessions are conducted in accordance with Good Practice Guidelines, as well as the latest scientific knowledge in diagnosis and treatment.
4. To ensure the involvement and satisfaction of all the Clinic’s staff.
5. To improve and optimise processes, making the best possible use of available human resources and facilities.
6. To prioritise the selection of suitably qualified partners and suppliers, fostering collaborative relationships.
7. To ensure technical and scientific readiness to respond to requests in a timely manner, in accordance with Good Practice and healthcare sector legislation.
8. To promote collaboration with regulatory bodies, partners, scientific societies and other stakeholders in the healthcare sector, improving communication and mutual cooperation.
The continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and compliance with the requirements of the NP EN ISO 9001 standard and the practices established by the Portuguese Physiotherapists’ Association and the European Region of World Physiotherapy are objectives and responsibilities of all the Clinic’s staff.
