Cubital tunnel syndrome is a term used for compressive neuropathies of the ulnar nerve in the elbow region. The ulnar nerve is responsible for the sensation of the little finger and part of the ring finger, in addition to providing motor innervation to several small hand muscles, which are very important in the control of fine hand and finger movements. Its compression may cause numbness in this territory, pain, and muscular weakness of the mentioned muscles. Treatment involves releasing the nerve through manual techniques that allow normalization of the patient’s condition.
