It is a tendinitis (inflammation of the tendons) located at the insertion of the muscles at the level of the epitrochlea of the elbow (inner side of the elbow). The most common cause is repetitive movements during certain activities, without sufficient recovery time for the structures, causing excessive tension and microtrauma. The most common symptoms are pain during certain wrist, finger, and elbow movements, located on the inner side of the elbow and potentially radiating along the forearm. It is a very common condition in golf players.
