Despite advances in cardiology over the last three decades, cardiovascular disease remains a serious problem affecting the global population and is considered the second leading cause of death in Europe and the US. Scientific evidence shows that prevention should be the priority, focusing on promoting a healthy lifestyle that includes controlled physical exercise and a balanced, healthy diet.
What We Do
During rehabilitation sessions, warning signs and symptoms are identified in cardiovascular patients, allowing us to choose the appropriate physiotherapy techniques for the different stages of treatment. All work is carried out in a comprehensive manner, from physical to psychological and socio-family aspects, to improve the patient's quality of life and autonomy.
In addition to prevention, cardiac rehabilitation is scientifically proven to be the best strategy and intervention after cardiovascular conditions. In this regard, we work in the third phase of rehabilitation with the aim of maintaining and optimizing cardiac function. We work based on evidence promoted by the European Society of Cardiology, achieving the best results through the best intervention appropriate for each person.
