Some members of the Physioclem team participated in training on Behavioral Change Science and Healthy Lifestyle Mentoring, led by Dirk Steinbach from Lagom, an international project in which Physioclem is also involved. The initiative took place at the Alcobaça clinic on February 27 and 28, and aimed to present the Healthy Lifestyle Mentor process, a monitoring methodology focused on changing lifestyle habits.
During the workshop, professionals had the opportunity to reflect on the role of mentoring in health promotion and to learn about the principles of behavioral change. The mentor's position and how they can support people in building healthier habits was also presented. On the second day of the training, the team worked practically on the 11 steps of the mentoring process, through exercises in small groups and simulations of real monitoring situations.
Throughout the two days, there was also time for discussion, sharing ideas, and different perspectives among participants, in a working environment that also encouraged socializing.
The initiative is part of Physioclem's ongoing investment in training its team and developing innovative approaches focused on promoting healthy lifestyles.
